Getting started · Step 5

Create an event type

Each event type gets its own booking page and shareable link.

In Event types, create an event type for each kind of appointment people can book. Give it a clear name and URL slug, and describe what the appointment is for.

Set the appointment duration and choose where it takes place: a fixed video link, an address or Google Meet. You can also set buffers around appointments, how far ahead people may book, minimum notice and a daily limit for this event type.

Choose whether the event type follows your general availability or has its own hours. Add booking questions or document uploads if you need information before the appointment. See Questions and documents from bookers.

Event types can be listed on your public booking overview or hidden from that overview. A hidden type is still reachable by anyone who has its direct link; it is not password-protected.

To charge for an appointment, select a checkout product in the event type's Payment section. See Paid appointments through bookto checkout.
