Accept the Data Processing Agreement
The first time you sign in, bookto asks you to review and accept the Data Processing Agreement (DPA). It explains how bookto processes personal data for you. You must accept the current DPA before you can publish a checkout product or booking event type live.
Complete your business details
Open Account in the bookto app and complete the shared business profile:
- Business name — your legal business name.
- Business address — street, city, postcode and country.
- VAT number — enter the country prefix if you have one. bookto validates EU VAT numbers through VIES.
- Contact email — where bookto sends account and billing messages. It can differ from your sign-in email.
Save your changes. Complete business details and DPA acceptance are required to publish tools live. A validated VAT number is also needed for subscription billing and invoices. For sales-tax rules on checkout orders, see How bookto checkout handles VAT.
Newly registered VAT numbers can take a few days to appear in VIES. If a correct number does not validate, try again later or contact support.
